| » antony harding antony 'ant' harding began writing his own songs way back in the summer of 1988, in his bedroom on the isle of wight. quite a lot of time has passed since then; ant now lives in malmö, where he has spent the last years getting married, raising two small sons, renovating the family apartment and learning swedish. in the meantime, he played the drums in the cult band hefner and at the same time began a solo career which led him to release two albums, three eps, a singles and rarities compilation and several seven-inches. he also recorded a four song session for the john peel show. he recently released a 25 track mp3 album of demos and out-takes titled 'when the morning arrives'. *site |

| » darren hayman essex-born darren hayman was a member of "britain’s largest small band", hefner, big favourites of late john peel, with which he released four studio albums (plus a compilation and a live album). he has been involved in a number of projects since, including the french and stereo morphonium; and he can now be found performing and recording solo, with his ever-changing backing group the secondary modern, or as part of an indie bluegrass supergroup (hayman, watkins, trout and lee). he said about himself: "i've realised over the years that i'm not clever enough to write books, i've worked at battersea dogs home between albums, done a teacher training course, shop work and some lecturing at a further education college. but i had to stop all of them because i didn't like them - i only really feel at home when i'm writing songs". he lives in london with his wife and his dogs beulah and meathead. *site |

| » hemstad surrounded by beautiful women, hemstad is seen in the underground of art, such as music. hemstad was originally founded by two old pals, a keyboard and a guitar/harmonica player, in a moldy rotten house in the town of kungalv. later, the band added a bass player and a handclapper, and they recorded a 5-track cd-r called det brinner i knutarna, in chris' (the keyboard player) apartment. as time has passed, a drummer, a second guitarist and a tambourinist have joined the group. then, the first real record. nowadays hemstad is a package of joy, capable of putting smiles on many faces. except inspired by rock'n'roll in general and the paintings of wassily kandinsky, hemstad and their sound is a highspeed energic, instrumental dedication to the west coast of sweden. *site |
